Nursing Information System (NIS)

is a part of a health care information system that deals with nursing aspects,
particularly the maintenance of the nursing record.

The several objectives that a Nursing Information system should meet in order
to succeed its aims, cover the users' needs and operate properly are described.

The functions of such systems, which combine with the basic tasks of the
nursing care process, are examined.
Health Care Team/IT Team

• Information technology is a team sport.

• Working as an IT team allows brilliant individuals to create remarkable
systems, processes, solutions and results.
• IT teams are typically small groups of practitioners who are able to
develop, deploy and maintain large-scale systems to keep modern
businesses running.
•  Health IT is another way to describe the management of healthcare
information between clinicians, patients, healthcare administrators,
insurance companies and government entities.
IT Team
• Interprofessional Team is the new buzzword for success
• In terms of information technology in health care, the trend in this
role is also increasing over time.
IT Team
An interprofessional team is comprised of team members from two or more different
professions (e.g., nurses and physicians, physicians and community health workers, social
workers and psychologists, pharmacists and respiratory therapists) who learn with, from,
and about each other to enable effective collaboration and improve health outcomes.
INTERPROFESSI Today’s health care environment includes numerous discussions of the
ONAL TEAMS need to implement interprofessional teams as one of the solutions
WORKING that will help improve access, increase quality, and reduce the cost of
health care services.

subscription and possible monitoring
Listserv
