INTRODUCTION TO PROJECT
 The Online Doctor Appointment System Of A Multispeciality
Hospital is a smart appointment booking system that provides
patients or any user an easy way of booking a doctor’s
appointment online.
 This is a web based application that overcomes the issue of
managing and booking appointments according to user’s
choice or demands as well the availability of the specialists.
 The task sometimes becomes very tedious for the compounder
or doctor himself in manually allotting appointments for the
users as per their availability.
 Hence this project offers an effective solution where users can
view various booking slots available and select the preferred
date and time.

Modules

• Admin: The system is under supervision of admin who


manages the Doctors, departments of each Doctor, Doctors
profile, time-slot (available & booked), availability of
Doctor, Email configuration.
• Appointment availability check: User can click on date
and time-slots to view the availability.
• Email on appointment booking: When user booked an
appointment email is sent to Admin and Patient also. Admin
can confirm or cancel the appointment.
• Doctor detail: Show the list of all Doctors and also show
their details according to their departments.
• Department detail: Show the list of all Departments and
also show the profile of their Doctors.
