My Personal Timeline

Objectives
With this activity, the Grade 9 Students will be able to:
Remember and relate important life events that had happen in the
past up to the present time
Identify areas in their timeline that they wish to change or maybe
add another life event, and how these would have affected their
lives
Create an extension of their timeline that will depict what they wish
to happen in the future
Understand the importance of patience in achieving their future
goals
What is the one biggest
mistake that you made
in your life and what did
you do to make it right?
(Question for Venus Raj during the Miss Universe 2010)
There are events in our lives which
we experience and there are
those that we want to experience
in the future. Today, we will look
into them.
Creating Your Personal Timeline
Identify your life events from the past two and five years and
list them down. Consider even the sad or negative life events
that you experienced.
Create another list of life events that you would like to
experience for the coming five and ten years.
Write your answers on a one whole sheet of paper.
You will be given 15 minutes to finish this activity.
