Lesson Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
1. Illustrate the permutation of an object.
2. Derive the formulas for finding the number of
permutation of r object taken r at a time; and
3. Solve problems involving permutations.
Example:
Mr. Datu wishes to input a 4-letter password on his
mobile phone using the four letters on his name.
Now, find the total number of passwords Mr. Datu
can create. We can list all the passwords Mr. Datu
can create by the use of tree diagram.

Step 1: Upon opening the application, you’ll see
