    Data Produced:
    • 14 multi-temporal landslide inventories through manual mapping on medium-
    resolution (10-30 m) satellite imagery (Landsat 8 and Sentinel-2). Bi-annual
    inventory mapping allowing the impact of the earthquake and six post-
    earthquake monsoon seasons to be assessed.
    • Application of Earth Observation (EO) technologies to improve understanding
    of exposure with a specific focus on the countries of Nepal and Tanzania.
    • Population and building
    exposure in Nepal recorded
    by construction type within
    each VDC in Nepal ~ Census
    (2011).

    Events:
    a. Monthly meetings and webinars on Sajag Nepal
    b. National Symposium on Disaster Risk Management
    and Resilience Building on Earthquake Safety Day

    Society, Universal Engineering and Science
    College, and others in organizing several national
    conferences on aspects of earth sciences and
    disaster risk management
