Text Types - Explanation

Forests are essential to human survival and well-being. They clean the air, water, and soil, and regulate the climate. While trees are not always associated with urban areas, they provide valuable services there as well. Access to green spaces has been shown to improve both physical and mental health. With over three-quarters of Europeans living in cities, trees and forests are more important than ever for well-being.

Forests are essential to our survival and
well-being. Forests can clean our air, our
water, and our soil, and they regulate our
climate, amongst many other things. Trees
and forests are not always associated with
urban landscapes. However, there, too, they
provide invaluable, often, invisible services.
Access to green environments make us
happier and our bodies healthier.
Scientific studies show that urban
forests and green spaces help improve
physical heath and mental well-being.
With more than three quarters of
Europeans living in urban areas, trees,
forests, and green spaces mean more
than ever before.

4. Many people do not realize that they have a responsibility to take care of their
environment. Simply separating the wet and dry garbage is one way. Another is
reducing the amount of trash that they add up to the surroundings. Finally,
recycling is another way to take care of the environment. It is making a new
product out of a new material that has already served its purpose.

management in school. These are the three essential
components of environmentally-responsible consumer behavior -
reduce, reuse and recycle.

communication among people easier, faster and more constant.
Even in the absence of a face-to-face encounter, people seem to
be closer to each other despite distance.

teacher. This teacher had been giving the students test after test
in Geography, and they had been doing badly in their scores.
