• What did the people do to spend their free time ?


• The people could do some activities like excursions , horse riding , etc …

INVENTIONS

• The inventions of Victoria Period were the first electric light, telephones and post
boxes.
• They used the inventions of Victoria Period for transport, like bikes and trains.
They used enabled people to communicate with other people miles away.
FASHION AT VICTORIAN PERIOD

In general, people at that time dressed quite good. Middle-class


women and men dressed well compared to upper-classes.
Lower-class people didn't have much money so they only were
interested in work and brought money to their houses.

THE SCHOOL AT VICTORIAN PERIOD

• Victorian school teachers were strict and could punish children for not learning their
lessons. Each class could have 70 or 80 students. Lessons usually consisted of reading
and copying, or reciting.
• Everybody girl and boy could study.
