Theorems On Rhombus

This document provides learning objectives and content about the properties of rhombuses. It begins with learning objectives related to knowing theorems about rhombuses, using properties to find measures, and applying properties in real life. It then presents content on rhombuses including: all sides are equal; opposite sides are parallel; opposite angles are congruent; consecutive angles are supplementary; diagonals bisect each other and are perpendicular; each diagonal bisects a pair of opposite angles. It provides two theorems and examples of using properties to find angle measures in various rhombuses. It concludes with an assignment to identify unfamiliar words related to squares.

Properties of Rhombus

1. All the sides are congruent.

2. Opposite sides are parallel.
3. Opposite angles are congruent.
4. Consecutive angles are supplementary.
5. Diagonals bisect each other and are perpendicular.
6. Each diagonal bisects a pair of opposite angles.
7. Each diagonal separates the rhombus into two congruent triangles

A parallelogram is a
rhombus if and only if
the diagonals are
perpendicular.
THEOREM # 2

A parallelogram is a
