What is a Classroom Rule?
Definition:

• Classroom rules are set to teach student a


proper and safe way to act within the
classroom and thus, improving the student
learning.
Why are Classroom Rules and
Routines important?
Following the Rules Help Us:
• Increase productivity
• Enhance our focus
• Feel respected
• Learn effectively
• Improves our education
• Makes class enjoyable
Rule no. 1

•Line up properly and enter


the room quietly.
Rule no. 2

•Prepare yourself for the


lesson.
Rule no. 3

• Raise your hand when


you want to say something
or answer a question.
Rule no. 4

•Stand up when you are


called to answer.
Rule no. 5

• Accomplish assigned tasks on the


amount of the time given and make
sure that your work is properly
labeled.
Rule no. 6

• Additional points will be given to


those students who will be able to
submit their assignments and/or
projects one or two days before the
deadline.
Rule no. 7

•Deduction of points will be given


to those students who will submit
their works late.
Rule no. 8

• Listen when others are talking.


Rule no. 9

• Ask permission when going out


of the classroom.
Rule no. 10

• Do not cheat nor copy other


people’s work.

• Clear out the desks, push back


the chairs and take with you all
your necessary items.

•A measuring instrument is a
device to measure a physical
quantity.
Types of Linear Measuring Tools

• Pull-push rule • Try Square


• Zigzag Rule • Meter Stick
• Ruler • Compass
• Caliper • Protractor
Pull Push Rule or Measuring Tape

• A push pull rule is a measuring tape that coils into


a compact case. It is used for measuring long,
short, straight lengths.
Zig Zag Rule

•A folded measuring tool


Ruler

•It is used for measuring short


pieces of stock
Caliper

•It is used for measuring


diameter.
Try Square

•It is used for checking flatness


and squareness.
Meter Stick

•a measuring device which is up


to one (1) meter in length.
Compass
•It is used for scribing arcs and
circles
Protractor

•It is used for laying out angles.


Activity

Direction: List down the eight
