1. An infographic is a collection of imagery,
charts, and minimal text that gives an
easy-to-understand overview of a topic.
Infographics use striking, engaging visuals

to communicate information quickly and

clearly.

data by presenting it into a visually
pleasing
package.
SIX ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS IN
CREATING INFOGRAPHICS
1. DESCRIPTIVE TITLE AND SUBHEADS
These are needed if you want readers to know what
they’re looking at right
away.
 
2. INFORMATIVE STATISTICS
 
Informative data puts the “info” in infographic. Make
sure the statistics are valuable, relevant, and of course
— accurate. Attribute all facts to the reputable sources
from which they come from.
 
3. BOLD, THEMATICALLY APPROPRIATE COLOR SCHEME
 
Choose a bold color scheme that aligns with the message/issue.
Infographics should do more than communicate information — they should
also invoke a certain feeling. If the infographic is on the lighthearted side,
for example, avoid dampening the mood with somber colors.
 
4. EYE-CATCHING GRAPHICS
 
Aside from being interesting and informative, infographics should also be
eye-catching. After all, these should grasp the attention of a digital
audience with more than a few choices when it comes to sourcing
information relevant to their interests, so make sure to be the standout
favorite.
5. CLEARLY ORGANIZED, SEQUENTIAL STORY
 
People don’t just want to scan through a bunch of data that they could find
themselves with a quick Google search — they want a compelling narrative.
Infographics should be clearly structured and intentionally ordered, allowing the
readers to digest the information they contain within the proper context.
 
6. SPECIALLY FORMATTED FACTS
 
Make sure to highlight the most pertinent facts in yourinfographic by
formatting them uniquely — whether you choose to highlight, increase the font
size, or
bold the typeface.
SEVEN ESSENTIAL RULES IN CREATING INFOGRAPHICS
1. Make one big point
IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD HAVE A SINGLE, COHERENT
MESSAGE THAT THE ENTIRE INFOGRAPHIC SERVES
TO DELIVER. THINK OF IT AS A STORY: IT’S TOLD WITH
DATA AND VISUAL METAPHORS, BUT THE STRUCTURE
IS STILL THE SAME.
 
2. Use simple combinations of primary colors
 
The use of a few colors, especially the eye-
catching primaries has a clear logic in it. For exam-
ple: Yellow: take notice. Orange: you should proba-
bly look at this. Red: Stop what you’re doing and
read this now. That’s exactly how colors should be
used when it comes to conveying data: simple ones,
arranged by importance, with a clear sense of which
color means makes a difference.
 As a general rule:
 
1. Use as few colors as possible and,
2. if you must add another color, make sure there’s a reason behind it, like if you find another piece of
data that has to be separate from the others.
3. Space it out

One thing one wants to minimize when designing an infographic is
text. Too much text defeats the purpose, anyway. Titles, headings, and
a few pithy captions are good form but besides that, cut it out. People
don’t click on infographics to read an article.
Typography can make or break a design of any type, though info-
graphic included– so it’s important to touch on it.

Again: the rule of three. Use three fonts:

 
One for your title/header,
one for your body,
and a third for flavor.
 
 5. Come up with a solid, eye-catching design
Set up the storyline and how the infographic will flow from one topic to the next before starting
to lay it out. Smashing recommends one to spend an hour on this stage, and don’t stop until some us-
able layout sketches are done.

6. Decide on what’s important and what’s not.

 
Define which parts are the biggest and most important, and how to make that obvious. This
mainly applies to text and any figures or bits of graph that one wants to highlight—the ones that
comprise the most interesting or relevant figures and facts, in other words.
 Hierarchy in fonts is easier to figure out:
 
1. The main title will have the largest font.
2. The subtitle will probably be the same font, but in a smaller point size.
3. Body text should be a simple, readable font in a modest size–somewhere in the teens is good for
most situations.
4. Chart labels will probably be the same size, but the same font is optional. Use a different one to make
the design more visually interesting.
 
Aerobics is system of physical conditioning that
increases the efficiency of the body’s intake of
oxygen, thereby stimulating the cardiovascular
system, developing endurance, and reducing
body fat.
Aerobics is a form of physical exercise that
combines rhythmic aerobic exercise with
stretching and strength training routines with the
goal of improving all elements of fitness.

Bone-Strengthening Activities
Any kind of activity (regardless if it’s high im-
pact or not), that provides a force on the bones
and boost their strength and growth can be
considered as a bone-strengthening exercise.
Some of the most common exercises for the
bone are walking, jumping, running, gymnastics,
lifting, and almost all kinds of sports.

Advantages of Having Strong Bones
1.Strong bones basically let us have a happy and great lifestyle. Without
it, running, walking, and even simple activities such as doing house
chores would be a burden for you.

2. It reduces the risk of osteoporosis. When we reach the age of 35, our

bone mass will gradually deteriorate and eventually put us at risk of os-
teoporosis. With strong bones, the risk can be reduced.

3. It improves our performance. Whether you are an athlete or a worker

who’s required to be physically strong to perform tasks, strong bones
will essentially help you perform with full strength.
