Definition
A Proposal is a written offer to undertake a project for designing, creating something new or for changing
or modifying an existing procedure, method, system or structure within a specified period of time.
Purposes
The aspects of a technical writing are -
• essential to add more knowledge to existing knowledge in the field of science and technology,
humanities and management
• contribute to one’s area of interest and specialisation for achieving the academic and the professional
goals
• to give a high degree professional satisfaction in career advancement

Benefits
1. Involving in technical writing improves the use of technical vocabulary, specialised terminology,
graphic aids, and particular writing styles

 It also focuses on the objectives of the article and use of simple and direct language
