Development Human

Human development can be seen through physical and mental changes and occurs through both traditional and lifespan approaches. The lifespan perspective views development as a lifelong process that is multidimensional, contextual, and involves growth, maintenance, and regulation at different stages from infancy to old age. This contrasts with the traditional approach which views development as either minimal changes or stopping completely after childhood.

Human development is can be seen trough physical and

mental changes. We will discuss the two approaches between

traditional and life-span.

We all know that development is a continous process wherein we set

and achieve our goals. In every development there is a beginning and
ending

We came into this world like a tabularasa for we don’t know anything.
But then slowly develop.
According to the studies of Santrock, 2002 , it was stated that an
expert named Paul . Development is life-span where development
does not stays at childhood only.
There are 5 characterictics that life-spam explains.

1. Development is life-long from the word itself. The development is

continous it does not only end at adulthood.
2. Development is plastic. It was stated here that age is just a number but the
potential and eagerness to learn something new will always be there. There
physical and mental came up to open world where they go out in their
comfort zone to learn more.
3. Development is multi-dimensional this development consist of 3 types the
biological, cognitive, and socio-emotional
lets go to biological, biological means the natural way of growing –up
they changes appearance where in the their development is relatively orderly.
From infancy to adulthood they continous to develop. their physical self will
improved their bones will be stronger their face will bloom. The development
under biological is not like amazing flash that come in an instant it will
develop trough months or years. Usually we can see physical develop of a
person during his/her teenage years.
Further more the cognitive processes involve changes in their
intellectual self. The way they think will be broader, the innocence
they have will apparently fade away little by little. this way they will
also determine their own skills where they generate ideas that can
changed before being implemented in the real world. Their creativity
and determination will allow them to think more specific and to find
extra ordinary way to do an action.

Consequently, the socioemotional processess included that changes

depends in how they mingle and be part of the society. Their
personality will develop and the emotions . Personality is the sum
total of characteristics of a person where can be determine in 4 aspects
the physical self, emotional , social and intellectual. They develop this
stage by miggling to other people.

Hence, the three processess are intertwined. This define that their
development is between their ideal self and actual self.
4. Development is contextual this explains that the changes vary in how the
world change us. Just like a weather or cclimate . It will changes and destroy us
when we destroy the shield or trees. A boomerang to be exact where when you
throw it it will come back to you same as goes to contextual development. What
we change in our world will actually ,change us. We adopt what we see and
learn.

5.Development involves growth, maintenance and regulation this vary in

development stages from infancy to old age. This will develop while growing
up and adopting our nature and by adopting the changes.

Let us define traditional approach this approach is describe as the

channges is extensive, a little changes happens or no changes at all.
This was base in what we see.
As we learned the human development I can Say that lifespan is
closer to the truth. Development is dynamic and we must see it
broader it is not because your small and tall ,fat or thin, dumb or
genious you didn’t change at all. It was stated in a song that do not just
a book by it’s cover, so they say do not judge a a man if you see him
on the way. So development is not we see in our naked eyes it is what
we feel and act. Age is just a number they an be late bloomers but still
there is changes.
