    A 180-degree protractor has inside and outside scales to measure angles from 0 to 180 degrees in clockwise and counterclockwise directions respectively. It should always be used horizontally with the angle vertex pointed directly down for accuracy.     You need to be able to measure an angle to the nearest
    degree. To help you do this you should always:
    1. Look directly down onto the cross point to improve accuracy.

    2. Always use the protractor in a horizontal manner as shown
