outputs of the processing. the outputs or
results are the information that we need.

HARDWARE - refers to the physical and tangible


components of the computer system. The
components could hardware, storage hardware,
output hardware, and commmunication hardware.
CLASSIFCATION OF HARWARE

INPUT DEVICE- An input device, such as a keyboard or


mouse, sends information to a computer system. The
computer will then display or reproduce that information
via one or more output devices. It's therefore essential for
computer users to differentiate between input and output
devices.
CLASSIFCATION OF OUTPUT

OUTPUT DEVICE- It provides the means for


user to view information produced by the
computer system. The two forms of output
are hardcopy and softcopy.

SOFTWARE - is a collection of computer programs


and related data that provides the instructions for
telling a computer what to do and how to do it.
Software refers to one or more computer programs
and data held in the storage of the computer
CLASSIFCATION OF SOFTWARE

SYSTEM SOFTWARE- It refers to the program


that assist in the computer operations. It
facilities the excution of application
programs.
CLASSIFCATION OF SOFTWARE
APPLICATION SOFTWARE- It refers to the user programs
being installed in the computer that are designed to solve
various problem in business, engineering and scientific
research.

PEOPLEWARE- Refers to anything that has to do with the


role of people in the development or use of computer
software and hardware systems.

who has to finalise the accounts and close the books of
account at the end of every accounting period.
