Wireless Biomedical Parameters Using Arm9

The document describes a wireless biomedical parameters monitoring system using an ARM7 microcontroller. The system collects data from sensors measuring physiological parameters like heart rate and temperature. The ARM7 processes the sensor data and wirelessly transmits it to a receiving device. The receiving device then visualizes the biomedical data in real-time and can send alerts if abnormal readings are detected. The system is designed for medical use and provides more accurate and reliable monitoring of biomedical parameters than general-purpose smart watches.

ARM 7
MICROCONTROLLER
WORKING
• Sensing: The first step is to sense the biomedical parameters
such as heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, etc.,
using different sensors. These sensors are connected to the
ARM microcontroller, which reads the data from them.
• Processing: The data obtained from the sensors is processed
by the ARM microcontroller to extract meaningful
information. This processing can involve filtering,
amplification, and digitization of the sensor signals to improve
their accuracy and reliability.
• Wireless communication: Once the data is processed, the
ARM microcontroller wirelessly transmits the data to a
receiving device such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
This communication can use different wireless protocols such
as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Zigbee, depending on the application
and range required.
• Data visualization: The data received by the
receiving device is visualized in real-time,
allowing the user to monitor the biomedical
parameters. This can involve displaying the data
in the form of graphs, charts, or other
visualizations.
• Alerting: In case of any abnormality in the
biomedical parameters, the ARM microcontroller
can send an alert to the receiving device, allowing
the user to take appropriate action.
HOW WIRELESS BIOMEDICAL PARAMETRES USING ARM DIFFER
FROM SMART WATCHES ?
• Accuracy and reliability: Wireless biomedical parameters using
ARM microcontrollers are designed specifically for medical
applications and are generally more accurate and reliable in
monitoring biomedical parameters compared to smart watches.
• Battery-life: Wireless biomedical parameters using ARM
microcontrollers are designed to have longer battery life than smart
watches, since they are intended to be worn for extended periods
without requiring frequent recharging.
• Purpose: Wireless biomedical parameters using ARM
microcontrollers are primarily used for medical purposes, such as
monitoring patients with chronic medical conditions. Smart
watches, on the other hand, are designed for general-purpose use
and can also monitor various physiological parameters, but they are
not specifically designed for medical use
