 Message Center Overview
 The Eagle Message Center application is a routing system that allows
external source/target systems to send/receive data in and out of the Eagle
STAR and PACE applications by translating, reformatting, and mapping
data as needed.
 Features of Eagle Message Center
– It is used to send or receive large volumes of data into or out of the Eagle data
warehouse.
– Can perform complex translations and reformatting on vendor and external
data so that the data will meet Eagle specifications.
– Supports multiple file formats i.e. SWIFT, XML, CSV and Fixed Width etc.
– Provides in built exception handling capability
– Provides ability to handle complex business logic
– Provides ability to send success or failure notifications through E-mail, fax etc.
– For communicating with STAR, it uses STAR messages

 PACE Metadata
• PACE Metadata is abstraction of PACE Database for
reporting and other purposes.
• User-friendly names are given to the fields in the
database. For example i.e. Coupon Rate instead of int_rate
• Creating Field Attributes creates the metadata for a field .
It is stored in Field_Attributes table in rules database.
• Abstraction of database layer helps in :

• Pace Components, also called Engines, are encapsulated functionality
