SETTING OUT

 This is the process of transferring


architectural drawings into the ground.

 It establishes the location points for


foundations, ground-beams, colums,
centre-lines of walls and other
necessary structural parts.
GROUND-BEAMS REINFORCEMENT
ARRANGEMENT

 The ground beam is the beam


which is provided usually at the
foundation level to support
building walls, joists, etc.
CASTING OF CONCRETE CUBES

 Casting can only be done with concrete


that has undergone the slump test and
its workability has been determined.

GROUND BEARING RAFT SLAB

Ground bearing raft slabs, are


commonly used for ground floors on
domestic and some commercial
applications.
It is an economical and quick
construction method for sites that have
non-reactive soil and little slope.
RAFT FOUNDATION

Raft Foundation is thick


reinforcement concrete slab
which spreads over a large
area of soil and provides
support for several columns
and load bearing walls.

aggregate, coarse aggregate and water
at a certain proportion to control the
quality and strength of the concrete.
