External Factors that Influence Career Choices

4.You will have the chance to bloom and grow in other aspects of
your person, particularly in extra or co-curricular activities which
may supplements your academic life.
CONS
1.Many career programs in college are expensive. Your parents
may need to shell out a huge amount for you to finish the entire
program.
2.Some of the program may require you to travel to other places.
This can add up to your expenses. This may also force you to
enroll in unpopular college program since it is the only thing
available in the college or university near your location.
3.The program of your choice may require
higher order thinking skills (HOTS) which
means that you need critical, creative and
reflective skills. You may need to strive
harder to reach the requirements to
proceed to the higher levels of program
until you finish.
4.You may have to spend a longer time with studies compared
to high school, thus, you may have to sacrifice some of your
time with friends just to be able to hurdle and complete the
challenges of your career program choice.
9.Evaluate your career path from time to time. With every new
information or experience you may find yourself growing at the
same time, particularly in the depth of your decision and
choices.
