• An intrapreneur is an employee of a large organisation who has the
entrepreneurial qualities of drive, creativity, vision and ambition, but who
prefers, if possible, to remain within an established company.

• An entrepreneur is therefore someone who perceives an opportunity and


acts on it to create a new venture for which he or she will assume the risk
and the management. The three key words are "perceives", "opportunity"
and "acts".
Definition of intrapreneurship
• the perception of entrepreneurship within an existing
organization. Intrapreneurship is commonly defined as a process
in which individuals within an organization use resources
independent of the resources they currently control;
• doing new things and abandoning the habit of taking advantage
of opportunities;
• entrepreneurial spirit within an existing organization;
• creation of new organizations by the organization or as an
initiative of renewal and innovation in this organization.
