Preposition
A preposition is a word used to
link noun, pronouns, or phrases to
other words within a sentence.
They act to connect the people,
objects, time and locations of a
sentence. 
Prepositions are usually short
words, and they are normally placed
directly in front of nouns.

Definition

An adjective prepositional phrase describes a noun or


pronoun. It answers the questions which one, what
kind, how much, or how many.

Examples

 The book on the table is mine.


 The man under that tree is sleeping.
 The mirror behind the door is broken.
Adverb prepositional phrases

Definition

Adverb prepositional phrases modify a verb, adjective, or


adverb. They usually tell when, where, how, why, or to
what extent (how many, how much, how long, or how
far), and under what condition.

Examples
 My father always warm his car up before driving.
 Kartika is sitting near the open window.
 During your training period at the company, you
will get paid.
