AREAS WHERE MASSAGE
THERAPY IS USEFUL
• Few areas where technology might be useful for massage therapists which will
be discussed in detail later are:
Booking clients appointments
Investigate recent advancement
Healing
• BOOKING CLIENT APPOINTMENTS:
Taking care of your clients is an important aspect of being a fantastic massage therapist. A big step in
achieving that goal is making scheduling appointments simple. Software that accomplishes this is
widely available and beneficial.
Many massage therapists use Mindbody to run their entire practice. It offers customers a method to
schedule appointments, among other helpful features.

• INVESTIGATE RECENT ADVANCEMENTS:
Researching the most recent methods is part of massage therapist technology. You
must discover classes on the subject and learn more after you become aware of a
new technique in order to put it into practice yourself.
• HEALING:
Massage therapist technology can also be used to heal people. There are machines
that can heat up sections of a nerve to help with healing. A TENS machine can be
used to assist a patient in healing and pain relief.
Massage therapists can benefit greatly from technology. Technology is a tool that
massage therapists can use for everything from business management to healing
and everything in between.

HOW ARE THEY CONNECTED?
• They are connected because their primary goal is to provide the patient or the client with good health and
wellbeing. Ensuring they are getting the best from the therapeutic procedure and living a healthy life.
• DO THEY WORK TOGETHER?
They sometimes work together because they both are working in the same field with their
primary goal to provide them with the best therapeutic procedures to facilitate their health.
Recreation therapists observe the lifestyles of the patients and recognize the needs that will
increase their quality of life. Whereas, massage therapists provide patients with massage
therapies to make their bodies relaxed or sometimes in paralysis situations to get the
paralyzed parts of the body back into work.
They do work together in the well-being centers and hospitals too.

WHY THEY SHOULD WORK
TOGETHER?
• Sometimes patients require both these therapies together, as in the case of
paralyzed clients, they need some massage therapies as well as to combat their
stress and frustration issues they need a recreational therapist to get back their
good mental as well as physical well-being.
• This can help the patient to attain his/her goal soon and live a normal life.
