Prcis is a clear & compact logical summary of a passage. It preserves only the essential or important ideas of the original. Prcis is a type of summarizing that insists on an exact reproduction of the logic, organization, and emphasis of the original texts.
Importance
Words are like leaves & where they most abound Much fruit of sense beneath is rarely found

One son telegraphed as follows: Thanks for the money you sent me. I can save it for urgent needs, and it came just in the nick of time. I appreciate your kindness beyond words. The other son telegraphed thus: Saved
