STUDY
• Kroning & Kroning (2016) conducted a study about
“Teen Depression and Suicide: A Silent Crisis”
wherein they figured out that Adolescent depression is
a serious problem affecting teens, high school students
that had comtemplated suicide. Yet, depression among
teens are is often unrecognized. This article also
exposed the tragic death of a 17 year-old, along with
symptoms of depression and suicide in adolescents as
per DSM-5. The researchers categorized depression
and they also treatment plans and psychotherapy and
medications to treat depression and suicide attempts.
This article also would like to open the eyes of the
public that this has been a huge but a silent crisis.
