Issues and Concerns

Issue No. 1:
Payment Posting cannot proceed
(for the SPA generated via EPRS v.2.0 – v.2.3)

Solution: Delete the concerned SPA and generate a new


one

Assumption:
SPA was generated via EPRS v.2.0 – v.2.3
Employer attempts to post payment for the SPA.
How:

a. Go to “SPA History”

b. Select the concerned SPA, at the right-most column, click


the “delete” icon. A warning message will prompt “Are
you sure you want to delete this SPA?”. Click “Ok”.

c. Go to “Employees Remittance Status” module. Follow


Steps 1-3.

d. Upon generation of the new SPA, proceed to “Payment


Management”. Follow step no. 5.

The RF-1 status remained “Received”
(Payment posting was made through EPRS v.2.0 – 2.3)

Solution No. 1: Edit payment entries

Assumption No.1:
Venue of Premium Payment: PHIC-OTC
Wrong payment entries - wrong PAR/POR No, venue of
payment – PHIC-OTC, ACA OTC, date of payment.
How:
a. Go to “Transaction Monitoring” module
b. Select the concerned SPA, at the right-most column, click the
“edit” (pencil) icon. A warning message will prompt “Are
you sure you want to edit this SPA?”. Click “Ok”.
c. “Edit Payment Transaction” page will display the SPA
information. Click the drop-down arrow and select
PhilHealth OTC.
d. Supply the correct POR No. and POR Date.
e. Click “Submit”. EPRS will validate the supplied information.
f. If the POR No. and POR date is found in the Treasury
Database, EPRS will prompt: “Transaction Completed!” then
a link to “Go to Transaction Monitoring” is provided.
g. Expect a day or two for the RF-1 to be posted.
h. If the RF-1 still remained “Received”, contact your P-AIMS.
Issue No. 2:
The RF-1 status remained “Received”
(Payment posting was made through EPRS v.2.0 – 2.3)

Solution No. 1: Edit payment entries

Assumption No. 2:
Venue of Premium Payment: ACA-OTC
Wrong payment entries - wrong PAR/POR No, venue of
payment – PHIC-OTC, ACA OTC, date of payment.
How:
a. Go to “Transaction Monitoring” module
b. Select the concerned SPA, at the right-most column, click the
“edit” (pencil) icon. A warning message will prompt “Are
you sure you want to edit this SPA?”. Click “Ok”.
c. “Edit Payment Transaction” page will display the SPA
information. Click the drop-down arrow and select
“Banks/ACA”.
d. Supply the correct ACA, OR No. and OR Date.
e. Click “Submit”. EPRS will prompt: “Transaction Completed!”
then a link to “Go to Transaction Monitoring” is provided.
f. Depending on when the payment is made*, expect the RF-1
to be posted a day or two.
*normally payment record can be found in the Treasury Database between 30-45 days.

g. If the RF-1 still remained “Received”, contact your P-AIMS.


P-AIMS:
• The Formal Sector-Employed Segment (FSES) will monitor
the transactions which remained unposted, however, should
there be employer complaints about this issue, kindly ask the
employer first if the procedures a-g is followed.
• If so, then send the complaint to FSES via
[email protected]
Issue No. 2:
The RF-1 status remained “Received”
(Payment posting was made through EPRS v.2.0 – 2.3)

Solution No. 2: Delete Transaction & SPA in the


Transaction Monitoring & SPA History
modules

Assumption:
Applicable month in SPA do not match with that of the
saved report; or
Total amount paid not tally with the SPA/report;
How:
a. Go to “Transaction Monitoring” module
b. Select the concerned SPA, at the right-most column, click the
“delete” icon. A warning message will prompt “Warning!!!
Are you sure you want to delete this transaction? If
YES, you might lose your remittance list, or click
Cancel”.
c. Click “Ok” (Please ensure that “edit” option is not applicable
in the selected SPA, as the remittance list will be lost).
EPRS will prompt: “Transaction Deleted!” A link will be
provided with the message: “Please go to SPA History to
delete this SPA No. xxxxxxxxxxxx”.
d. Click the link to go to the “SPA History”. The particular SPA
for deletion will be displayed.

e. Click the “delete SPA” icon. EPRS will prompt “Are you sure
you want to delete this SPA?”
f. Click “Ok”. EPRS will prompt: “Statement of Premium
Account (SPA) successfully deleted”. A link will be provided
to go to “SPA History”.
g. Follow Steps 1-3, to prepare a new remittance list and
generate a new SPA.
h. Proceed to “Payment Management” then follow Step No. 5 to
post payment.
i. In case of overpayment (payment is more than the RF-1),
prepare RF-1 either through RF-1 Excel Template or submit
textfile from employer payroll system.
Other issue: SPA generated in EPRS v.2.0-v.2.3 remained
unpaid

Solution:
 Coordinate with the employers and advise to delete the
SPA and generate a new one.
- The list of the generated SPA which remained
unpaid was already requested for extraction
and shall be distributed per PRO and Branch.
