Lipat Aklat Program 2020 2021

The Cogonan Elementary School implemented a Lipat-Aklat Project to develop reading habits among learners. Through the project, 66 pupils received non-damaged books from Bilaran Elementary School from May 16 to July 31, 2021. The pupils returned books weekly to get new ones and gave reviews. For 11 weeks, learners diligently completed tasks and sent photos to advisers. On July 30, the materials were collected, and as the last school, Cogonan is responsible for record keeping until the next school year.

Lipat-Aklat 2021
“Books are a uniquely portable magic,” quoted by Stephen King. Early reading
ignites creativity, sparks curiosity, and stimulates the imagination in young children.
As SDO Batangas continues to implement the Library Hub Program and its advocacy
to develop reading habit and instill its importance among learners through the
Lipat-Aklat Project.
In line with this, Cogonan Elementary School implemented the said Project.
The school LR Coordinator, Ms. Allysa Mae M. Barrios, coordinated with the District
LR Coordinator, Mrs. Rina A. Rosales, and Bilaran Elementary School LR Coordinator,
Mrs. Jerecel Bascuguin in which the books would be taken from. The school’s
schedule for the Lipat-Aklat Program is May 16, 2021 to July 31, 2021. The learning
materials were transferred to the school on May 17, 2021 and distributed non-
damaged books to 66 pupils at the same day. Weekly, the pupils return the books
given to them to get another book. The learners were tasked to give a review of the
book they have read for the current week. For eleven weeks, the learners diligently
did their task and sent photos to their advisers for the monitoring.
The learning materials were collected at July 30, 2021 and ass the last school in
the cluster to receive the books, the school is responsible for the record-keeping
until the next school year would start. Therefore, having another schedule for the
Lipat-Aklat Program.
