Designing still Grapics using Graphic Software
What is Computer Graphics ?
Computer graphics deals with generating images with the aid of computers.
Today, computer graphics is a core technology in digital photography, film,
video games, cell phone and computer displays, and many specialized
applications.
Raster Graphics
A raster graphic represents a two-dimensional picture as a rectangular matrix
or grid of square pixels, viewable via a computer display, paper, or other
display
Vector Graphics
Vector graphics is a form of computer graphics in which visual images are
created directly from geometric shapes defined on a Cartesian plane, such as
points, lines, curves and polygons.

Resolution
Image resolution is typically described in PPI, which
refers to how many pixels are displayed per inch of an image.
which is expressed as a measurement of the number of rows and columns of pixels an
image contains, such as 640x480.
Color
Images containing three color channels, represented in a certain way, for
example RGB—red, green, blue—or HSI—hue, saturation, intensity.
CMYK is intended for print-based design because the color values determine how
much cyan, magenta, yellow, and black ink is used by the printer for each color
