Important An annual fourth edition of departmental career guidance programme “IP-
Programme/ Career Career, was held in IS Seminar hall. Program included talk by alumni’s of the
Guidance program department about the future prospects, opportunities in industries and in
higher education specific to Industrial/Production/Management domains.

Start-up initiative Two department’s alumni Mr. Ratheesh and Ananda B have started a company
called “VIVRT”. Company is into the design of recreational vehicle called
“SKATOCROSS”. The prototype vehicle developed by the students during the
Final Year project work is converted into a full-fledged recreational vehicle.
The Govt. of Goa has recognized the need for the vehicles and has funded Rs.
50 Lakhs to commercialize the vehicle in Goa.
