responsible for providing advise on
construction projects from a financial
perspective.
CQS

They work with client ,architects ,engineers ,main


contractors and other professionals to ensure that the
construction projects is completed with in the budget.
there are work under the main contractor mostly.
Then contractor quantity surveyor role is mostly
enter the contract period in pre-construction and
construction stages. There are works out the daily
running of building projects, estimating, contract
administration and construction planning together
with commercial cost and project management.
•The quantity surveyor from a contractor
company has to additional liabilities like sub-
contract formation, handing all matters
associated costs and values of the project
along with payment and cash flow forecasts.
There are three types of CQS under the main
contractor in the construction industry
1.Senior Quantity Surveyor.
2.MEP Quantity Surveyor.
3.Project quantity Surveyor.
