Problem Based Learning

This document discusses problem-based learning, an educational approach that presents students with real-world problems to solve. Educators present problems and support student investigations and collaboration. The goals are to promote critical thinking skills and prepare students for real-life situations. Problem-based learning originated in science and math education. Students learn through symbolic and hypothetical thinking in school, versus applying general skills and knowledge to real objects and situations. The learning outcomes are developing critical thinking, social skills through collaboration, and independent learning through self-directed problem solving.

A habitat is where an organism makes its home. The habitat
of an organism has everything it needs to survive like food,
water, and entertainment.

Example:
A wild horse lives in the grasslands
where feeds on grass and vegetation
around it. It also walks to the nearby river
to take a drink of water when it needs it.
The horse is also apart of a herd where it
interacts with other horses in the area.
