INTRO
Our project name is “Train ticket booking management” . In this project
we are going to tell about how to book the train tickets in online system.
 
Here we will be asking the user to select the year ,month ,date of
traveling to their journey . After selecting the year , month , date we are
going to ask about the starting city of travelling to the destination place
that are given in the list. after selecting the starting and destination point
we are going to ask about the train timing , class of train and preference
of seating. After than the user has to type his name , age , contact
number , aadhar number and we will print the cost of travelling . The user
should pay the amount by credit/debit card and UPI method . After
paying the bill we will give the receipt.

The Train ticket booking is built to calculate and


display bills and serve the customer in a faster and
efficient manner . This project is to book the ticket
in a easy way and providing an efficient customer
service
ABSTRACT

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USER

1. To select from destination to To destination


2 . To select the available trains and Train timings
3 . To select the preference of seating
4 . To ask the user to select the payment method
a . credit / debit card
b . UPI
5 . once the payment is done the receipt will be printed
6 . we will ask the user if he want to cancel his ticket or not.

TIMEDATE – Used for present date


OS- Used to check the the file is exist or not and to clear
the screen
CALENDAR-Used to get the month range
RANDOM-Used to generate PNR Number
CONCLUSION
CONCLUSION
Practical Training is a very important part of the curriculum as it
strengthens the concepts and enhances knowledge about the
practical implementation of all the theory concepts, we have
learnt so far in different subjects.

This summer training helped us learn a lot. In this training we


did the project on train ticket booking system. This project is
used to keep a track on reserving the seat to the passenger. It
helps managing the system very efficiently and conveniently.
