This document describes a proposed PHILAPP mobile application that would allow online registration with PhilHealth. The app aims to simplify the registration process for PhilHealth members by converting the hard copy registration form into a digital format that can be easily filled out on Android mobile devices. Currently, registration requires visiting a PhilHealth office center with a printed form and ballpoint pen. The proposed app would generate a QR code containing the entered client information that could then be scanned into the cashier's computer. The target output is an Android-based app containing the registration form and required documents to become a PhilHealth beneficiary, with a responsive design that adapts to mobile screens. The study is limited to Android devices and does not cover iOS.

Introduction

PHILAPP is a PhilHealth online registration application for


mobile devices. It will make the registration easier for PhilHealth
members. The registration form is easy to fill up because you will
just use your mobile or android phone. The form generates a QR
code that can be easily scanned and input the clients’ information
into the cashier’s computer.

Scope and Limitation of the Study

The study covers the development of mobile-based PhilHealth


Registration form as an alternative to the printed version.

Due to design constraints, this study does not cover IOS devices. The
system will only cater client who has Android-based devices like
smartphones and tablets and will not be applicable on desktop or laptop
computer.

Target Outputs

The target output of this project is to develop an Android-based


PhilHealth Online Registration Application that contains a softcopy of the
registration form and other required documents that need to fill up to be a
member of PhilHealth beneficiary. The app is responsive and adaptive to the
screen resolution of mobile devices.
