The document proposes an automatic pill and water dispenser project design using Arduino. The dispenser uses sensors to detect when a cup is placed under the water dispenser and dispenses water contactlessly. It also aims to automatically organize and dispense pills to increase patient independence.

INTRODUCTION

People now need to develop a contactless

machine due to COVID 19 in order to stop
the propagation of viruses. We realized the
necessity for an automatic water and pill
dispenser because of this.
HOW IT WORKS?
The automatic pill dispenser eliminates the need for manual
pill organizing, is handicap accessible, and can increase
patient independence.

The automatic water dispenser is an Arduino-based device

that automatically turns on the water when any cups are
placed in front of an IR proximity sensor. The Arduino in this
system is configured to constantly check if a cup is being
placed in front of the IR proximity sensor, and if so, to
energize when the cup is there and deactivate when it is
moved away from the sensor.
