Device setting – Run on a real
device

• The requirements
i. USB cable
ii. Phone/Smart phone
iii. Android Studio 3.2.1
Device setup
• Connect device to the development
computer/machine with a USB
cable.
• Enable USB debugging in the
Developer options:
i. Open the Setting app
ii. Select System
iii. Scroll to the bottom  select
About phone
iv. Scroll to the bottom  tap the
Build number 7 times
Device setup
• Open Developer options
• Scroll down to find the enable USB
debugging
Run apps on device

• In Android Studio
• Click app module in the
Project window
• Select Run > Run (or click Run
in the toolbar)
• In Select Deployment Target
window
• Select the listed device
• Click OK
• Android Studio installs the app on
the connected device and starts it.
