Problem identification and the Cause of the problem:
There are children in India who were born to parents but are now left alone to
fend for themselves. These children are either thrown in a dumpster or left to
survive in the orphanage, with no idea where to earn their bread and butter. It
would be natural to think for such children and take affirmative action in some
form. Looking for a nearby orphanage to donate meals, clothes, money, etc.
could be the very first step. Just remember, every bit helps.
While there are several means to support them, one of the most trusted ways is
to get associated with an NGO.
Objective to be achieved:
So from the whole analysis we have done, we concluded that we have three major
objectives to be achieved. They are
->To feed the needy and wiping out the hunger.
->Educating people about the importance of parents and children.
->Making the people who were in orphanges and oldage-homes feel hunger-free.
Various steps taken to achieve the Objectives:
While there are several means to support them, one of the most trusted ways is to get associated with an NGO.
So to achieve these objectives we consulted an organization near our residence named “Talent Origin Seva
Sangam”. With the help of Mr.Hari Narayana Rao,the President of the organization we met
General Manager’s of “ Indian Red-Cross Society ” and “ Care&Love Children Welfare Society ” and explained
about the project that we are going to start. The General Manager is also very much interested in these kind of
activities so he provided us the accesses to donate the food like biscuits and fruits for the people who were
living their in the society homes . He also explained us about his views about lives of that people and gave us
some great lectures about our responsibilities.
Next we started donating food like biscuits and fruits, to the people who were leaving in that orphange which
we have visited. Not only Red-Cross Society and Care&Love Association we have also visited some other
orphanages and oldage homes and known the problems faced by them by leaving far from their families,
because we see in many cases that people in ashrams search for love and care more than food and all. So we
decided to spent as much as time with that people to reduce some loneliness for them. We tried to mingle with
them so that can feel free to express their feelings and problelms they are facing.Also we cleaned some of the
ashrams as a social service. And they felt very happy for us.
Effectiveness of the Project:
By our project the people who were leaving in orphanges and old age homes felt hunger free, Each and every
person felt very happy for our company for their needs and they felt very loved by talking for us. From now
when I have some leasure I personally decided to go to ashrams to spend time with them and I will try my
level best to offer their needs.And also my friends who were with me at the time of my project are also learnt
many things and they are also decided to make some time for the people who are under loved.And we are all
together going to bring some change among the people about children and elders.And I kept the project title
name as “WIPE OUT HUNGER” because ,I decided to donate the food every month and will try to wipe out
the hunger of the people who were facing lack of food. By this project we have successfully donated food for
the needy and Now I am feeling very happy like I have done something for the society and nation and we are
proud of it….
Conclusion:
By this project, I personally learnt the importance of food and felt happy for helping the needy. and this project
gave me the feeling that something I’m done for them and I’m very thankful to my university for letting me
know the importance of food by giving such kind of projects to students. I personally suggest to take care of
one own’s children and elders and treat them with love because they are our parents and children and they
have supported us,fed us,gave us love and affection and made us to this position were we standing today and
we all have responsibility to take care of them.
