DHRDD Lecture

The Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development (DHRDD) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) is responsible for personnel training and education, and developing police doctrines and policies. It oversees all PNP training programs through its three divisions: Individual Training Program Division, Unit Training Program Division, and General Doctrine Development Division. November 01, 1993.
• Assist the Chief, PNP in the formulation of policy
and in the planning, direction, coordination and
supervision of all matters pertaining to human
resources and doctrine development.

• Advise the Chief, PNP on education and training


of PNP personnel and on doctrine pertaining to the
organization, administration and operation of the
PNP.
 Formulate training programs and
directives;
 Conduct research on the
education and training
requirements;
 Formulate plans and policies for
the supervision and
administration of police training;
 Prepare the budget; and
 Formulate and evaluate PNP
doctrines.
