position paper.

You are expected to:


1. Analyze the arguments used by the writer/s in
manifestoes;
2. Defend a stand on an issue by presenting reasonable
arguments supported by properly cited factual
evidence;
3. Write various kinds of position papers.

MANIFESTO

A manifesto advances a set of ideas, opinions, or


views, but it can also lay out a plan of action.
While it can address any topic, it most often
concerns art, literature, or politics.
It is written in the name of a group rather than in
the name of a single individual.
It marks the adoption of a new vision, approach,
program, or genre.
Examples of Manifesto:

1. An eye to see nature. Frank Lloyd Wright


2. Courage to follow nature. Frank Lloyd Wright
3. Be good but try to let no one know it. Leo Tolstoy
4. Simplicity is about subtracting the obvious and adding the
meaningful.
