historians as the Yin Dynasty.

It was a Chinese dynasty that ruled in the Lower Yellow

Excavations
The ruins of the ancient city of Yin lie
near the modern city of Anyang.
Historians say that this was once a
capital of the Shang dynasty.

Eleven royal tombs as well as the

foundations of palaces were uncovered.

The excavation site is known as Yin Xu.

It tells us about the prosperous time of
the middle Chinese Bronze Age.
It informs us of their culture,
sciences and crafts.
