History of Computer

The document provides a history of computers from early human "computers" who performed calculations, to modern electronic computers. Some of the key developments mentioned include the earliest electronic digital computer created by Atanasoff and Berry in 1937, the first programmable computer called the Z1 created in the late 1930s, and the first general purpose electronic computer called ENIAC developed in 1946. The document traces the evolution of computers from early mechanical aids like the abacus to modern portable computers.
