SCHOOL
RULES AND
REGULATIONS
FOR PUPILS/STUDENTS
1. The pupils/ students must be in school on
time.
2. Pupils/ Students must be regular and
punctual. Absence without permission or
habitual absence or disobedience of school
rules justifies disciplinary actions.
3. Pupils/ Students should submit homework
and assignment required of them on the
days specified.
4. Pupils/ Students are advised not to bring any
valuable articles (such as cell phones, PSP,
tablet, laptop etc.) to the school. The school is not
responsible for damage or lost articles.
5. Bringing toy and other playing materials to the
school is strictly prohibited unless they are required
to do so.
6. It is forbidden to write or scribble on the walls,
desks, etc. and throw waste paper or other garbage
everywhere, or any way damage school property.
Damage done must be paid for.
7. All students are earnestly encouraged to take active
participation in all curricular and co-curricular activities.
8. Uphold the honor of the school and speak with enthusiasm
about your Alma Mater. Every pupil/student shall take pride in
his/her school and shall conduct himself/herself in such
manner as to preserve the integrity and honor of the school.
Wherever a pupil/student may be, let his/her words bespeak
the esteem and respect they have for the educators and
classmates.
9. Each individual is expected to act as a mature individual at all
time, whether inside or outside the school premises, in
showing respect for people in authority, for the rights of the
fellow pupil/student and for the good name of the institution.
CAMPUS RULES
1. Students are expected to maintain an atmosphere
conducive to work and study specially when working
individually.
2. Shouting and running in corridors are not allowed.
3. Should a teacher be delayed on her way to the class,
students are to begin or continue working on their own in
the classroom and not loiter outside the classroom.
4. With elder’s pupils/ students are expected to say po, opo,
excuse me, thank you, and your welcome.
5. In authority proper greetings are expected from the
pupils/students like asking blessing in coming and in going
home.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS /
VISITORS
1.It is earnestly recommended that the
parents/guardians look into the assignment
notebook/handbook every day. Remarks on the
assignment notebook should be countersigned
regularly.
2.Parents of Nursery pupils are only allowed to
stay with their children in the school campus
for the first two weeks after the opening of
classes.
3. Criticism of a teacher or the school in front of
your children should be avoided. If you have
legitimate complaint, the Principal/ Administrator
should be contacted.
4. Ensure that your children come to school on time
with neat and clean prescribe school uniform.
5. Parents/Guardians are requested to cooperate
with the school authorities by keeping an eye on
the conduct, attendance, tardiness and academic
progress of their children.
6. Parents/Guardians are required to attend every
recollection and meeting called by the school. This
is to let them be informed of any important school
activities throughout the school year and ensure
their active cooperation.
7. No visitors including parents and guardians are
allowed to call or see a pupil/student or a teacher
directly from the classroom during class hours. In
case of emergency the Principal/Administrator
should be contacted.
8. All visitors including parents and guardians who wish to
see a student or teacher should observe the following:
a) Fill out visitors’ log book in the principal’s office.
b) Present the visitors’ pass to the Principal who will call
the attention of the concerned student/teacher.
c) Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the school
premises.
d) Visitors are required to wear descent clothes.
e) Parents / Guardians who wish to wait for their child or
ward should stay in place designated for them.
PARENTS FORMATION PROGRAM
1. Parents are required to attend 1st Friday Mass
with their children every month.
2. The parents are expected to attend quarterly
recollection and parents- teachers, conference
arranged by the school.
3. There is a room for the Most Outstanding
Parents at the end of the school year
unanimously voted by the committee and
faculty.
WATCHERS and FETCHERS
1. Parents should introduce to the teacher whoever is authorized
to fetch the child at dismissal. No one may take the child
without notifying the teacher or school security guard.
2. Parents or watchers are allowed to stay only within the first
two weeks of classes for the Nursery Pupils. The pupils are to
be fetched at the gate (either by parent, fetchers or drivers)
upon class dismissal.
3. Parents or guardians must be at the gate within fifteen (15)
minutes before and after classes. The school is not
responsible for accidents which may be met by the students
outside the school premises.
LOST ARTICLES

1. The school is not responsible for lost or


misplaced articles.
2. Any found misplaced or lost articles must be
turned over to the school’s Administrative Officer
who will give notice thereof in the bulletin board.
3. Lost articles not claimed within five (5) days after
notice will be disposed off to charitable purposes.
ACCIDENTS / INSURANCE
The managements are concerned over unforeseen accidents
that may happen to students while they are in school premises. We
believe that accidents would be thoroughly avoided or minimized.
The school adheres to the following preventive reasons:
1. Students are under supervision, instruction or custody of the
school only when they are within the school premises 30
minutes before the actual school hours and 1 hour after.
Students must therefore be brought and returned within the
appointed time by the duly authorized representative. Such
representative shall take custody and care of the children
immediately after the students are taken out from the school
premises.
2. The school shall allow students to go out of the
premises with a written approval from the
parent/guardian duly noted by an authorized
school officials. The school hereby retains
supervision, instruction or custody over the
students for all authorized activities within the
school premises, but only at the places assigned
by the school.
3. If after pre-cautions accidents may happen
every pupil/student is entitled for insurance
anywhere 24 hours a day and seven days a
week for one whole year.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Whether inside or outside the school campus, a pupils/
student represent the school by wearing the school uniform
to enhance their personal grooming.
Prescribed complete uniform will be checked by the
teachers daily.
Notes:
1. High School polo shirt must be tucked in with black belt
2. Lipstick, hair color (Girls & Boys) excessive jewelry, nail
polish and any make-up, as long as the student is
wearing uniform, unless required by certain
circumstances is not allowed.
HAIR CUT
 
Boys:
1. Should be neat and cleaned
2. A neat haircut is described as “hair not touching the
collar of the polo shirt, earlobes and eyebrows.
3. Properly comb or jelled
Girls:
4. Should be neat and cleaned
5. Bangs should not below the eyebrows
6. A neat and simple hairdo is expected.
SCHOOL ID
Every student officially enrolled in Pre-School, Elementary and
High School level must wear School ID while on campus at all
times. Any lost card must be immediately reported to the
Principal’s Office. Any person in authority has the right to asks for
the students I.D. when the need arises.

In the case a student loses his/her I.D. he/she should:


a) Report to the classroom adviser
b) Pay to the Main Office for the new I.D.
c) Proceed to the Principal’s Office for signature.
EATING AREAS

Meals, snacks and drinks should be taken


only within the canteen or its vicinity.
However, students who wish to eat in some
areas/places are advised to dispose their
wrapper, food containers, plastic utensils,
straw tissue paper and the like in the trash
cans.
LOITERING

Loitering or staying in the


corridors while classes are
ongoing is strictly prohibited.
SMOKING and DRINKING ALCOHOL
The school is a non-smoking and
alcohol free zone. Therefore, smoking of
cigarettes and the like and drinking of
the alcoholic beverages is absolutely
prohibited in the campus and its vicinity.
Those who violate this rule are subject to
disciplinary action.
SECURITY PERSONNEL
The Security Personnel are agents
or person in authority. Any student
who refuses to follow legal orders
made through these agents or
persons in authority is liable to
appropriate disciplinary action.
PERSONAL SAFETY
1. Students are not allowed to leave the school campus during
class hours, lunch and break time.
2. During school activities students won’t be allowed to go home
unless with permission from the Principal / Administrator.
3. During dismissal, students cannot leave the campus without
their service, guardians or parent present.
4. Valuable things such as money, jewelry, cell phones or
cameras are discouraged to be brought to school.
5. A student who goes home on an emergency or is sick needs a
permission slip or gate pass coming from the Principal/
Administrator present in the office. The parent / guardian
then will write the log book.
Buying and Selling of Items
Students are prohibited from buying or
selling of goods among themselves
whether inside or outside the campus
such as coins, stamps, play-cards or
collectibles or to engage in money
making dealings.
Care of School Properties
The school tries to give the best facilities. It is the student’s
responsibility to respect the school properties and facilities and therefore
should NOT do the following:

1. Damaging the desk and chairs or any school property such as


computers, audio and video equipment’s, jalousies, windows,
blackboards, fans, door knob, etc.
2. Marking chairs, walls and doors, tampering announcements on
blackboard and bulletin boards; careless handling of learning materials
and vandalism are strictly prohibited.
Note: Damaged properties shall be charged to the student and reported to
the Disciplinary Officer.
CLASSROOM RULES

1. Prayers

Prayers are done in the morning, at the


beginning of the class, during break, at 12:00
noon, at 3:00 p.m. and in the afternoon before
going home. The students are expected to pause
and participate in saying these prayers with
reverence, respect and attention.
 
2. Care and Cleanliness of Rooms

a) It is the responsibility of the members of the classroom to


maintain it neat and clean at all times.
b) Seats should be arranged before and after class
c) With respect to the classes on the next room, students are
expected to keep their noise down.
d) Erase the board after class. Only teachers are allowed to
write on the blackboards unless instructed to do so.
e) Always switch off lights and electric fans when not in use
before leaving the classroom for break or before leaving for
dismissal.
3. Lost and Found Items

All that are considered lost within the classroom or within


campus grounds must be forwarded to the office.
Attendance and Punctuality
1. All students are required to attend classes regularly and
punctually.
2. Cutting classes shall be considered an absence from classes.
3. A student who had been absent shall present a letter of
excuse from his/her parent or guardian and get it sign from
the principal before admission to class.
4. A student who had been absent, late or who cut
classes shall get an admission slip from the office
before admission to class.
5. In order not to be considered tardy, a student is
expected to be in his/her designated area for the line
formation (during assembly on regular days) five
minutes before the scheduled time.
6. Tardiness of the pupil shall be reported to the
Guidance Counselor and recorded in the Form 1.
7. A child is considered late if the flag ceremony has
started and shall be obliged to attend the next
ceremony.
Classroom Behavior
1. Student must avoid using offensive or filthy language.
They must avoid unnecessary noise that may disrupt
or disturb classes.
2. Bringing of toys, pocket-size recorder, cell phones,
mp3 players (or similar gadgets), play cards and
magazines are strictly prohibited and shall be
confiscated by the teachers and forwarded to the
Guidance Office. Only parents/ guardians are
authorized to claim the confiscated materials after
talking to the authorities.
Confiscation Procedures

a) The following are authorized to confiscate unnecessary accessories;


gadgets or materials in school;
i. Administrator
ii. Principal
iii. Teacher Adviser
iv. Subject Teachers
v. Office Staff
b) Upon the confiscation, the teacher or the confiscating officer shall fill
up and sign the confiscation form together with the student
concerned before turning it over to proper authorities.
c) Valuable items such as cell phones, mp3 players and others will be
returned at the end of classes. The only authorized person to claim is
the parents or guardians of the involved students.
