 Founded by Shri Ganga Bhishen Agarwal in 1937.

 In 1982, Haldiram’s set up shop in Delhi.

 In 1970, manufacturing plant started in Jaipur.

 The company began in 2003, which was the process

of developing convenience foods to be marketed to the consumers.


Introduction
 It is a Indian sweets and snacks manufacturer company.
 The manufacturing plant are located in cities like Nagpur, New Delhi, Gurgaon,
Rudrapur & Noida.
 The retail chain stores and restaurants are available in Nagpur, Kolkata, Noida
and Delhi.
 Haldiram was ranked 55th among India's most trusted brands according to report
of brand in 2014.
 Haldiram products are available in the countries like Sri Lanka, Germany, United
Kingdom, United States, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Australia, New Zealand
and Japan.

Haldiram’s products are popular with the Indian diaspora. Some of its famous products are:

SWOT ANAYLSIS
 Strength: : Haldiram’s has a global presence and hence it helps in building

the brand reputation that the brand reputation that the products are exported

intentionally.
 Weakness: The brand is present globally but in India which is the home

nation but its stores are only in the northern India which the popularity is limited
in that section only.
 Opportunities: The brand has a opportunity to expand in the home nation

where it is loved the most.


 Threats: Indians snacks have a reputation for being unhealthy and hence

place a bad image on Haldiram’s business as well.


Haldiram’s Sales Turnover

 2018 total revenue of Haldiram’s was Rs.5,532 crore which is (US$780 million).

 In the last financial year 2019-20, Haldiram’s has doubled its business in just a span of

four years.

 Haldiram’s has achieved the major milestone of $1 billion in sales.

 Haldiram’s has its uniquely positioned its brand.

 The brand has created only to the 35+ category with its positioning statement.

 Example: Always in good taste” but lately the company has started to target kids

and teenagers as well as with a hinglish baseline “Every zuban pe”.

 Through its clever products and brilliant distribution it has moved into the star

category of brands.
Haldiram’s Marketing & Selling Strategy

There is no big marketing strategy behind Haldiram’s. Haldiram’s do the same job but in a different

way. The main reason behind for advertising the product through TV commercial is:

 To introduce the product to general public.

 To implant the product name in customers mind so that the time when they go to market, it will

tempt them to try it once.

 The cheap price and its availability makes us to try this at least once.
Haldiram’s & Bollywood
As we can see the perfect example of Haldiram’s how they are advertising their brand.
In the movie Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo we had seen the how Haldiram’s is advertising and prompting
their brand.
Conclusion
 Haldiram’s has its global presence and has a good brand reputation in the

minds of the consumers.


 Few improvements in certain parameters will enable the company to gain

competitive boundary over others and also the company can capture more market

share in the market.


 Company should also start giving proper training to the sales associates to

develop their skills and attitude.
