Definition of Terms

Harmonization - is the process of bringing into consonance all


the Senior High School Subject Offerings

Core Subjects -are subjects that all SHS students will study
regardless of their chosen career track or learning
strand, and may be considered as similar to General
Education subjects in college

Applied Track -are subjects that all SHS students will take, which
Subjects are designed to focus on the specific applications of
certain subjects on the student’s chosen career
track or strand
Specialized -are subjects that are unique to the career track or
Subjects strand that the student chose
