What is Sky Drive?
• It is an online free 7GB file storage and sharing service provided by
Microsoft that is available through the Sky Drive app, SkyDrive.com, and
Sky Drive for Windows Desktop.
• Sky Drive (one drive) is your own password-protected hard drive in the
cloud which means you can use it to store thousands and thousands of files.
• And when you’re online you can get your data easily.
• Traditional ways of storing information includes USB thumb drives that can
get lost without saving your essential data
• But If you put your files on Sky Drive, you don’t need a good memory or
good luck. Your files are always right there and synchronized.
• It will be mostly used by the database administration manager of the
company who is using this application for storing there information and
data. And in person every member of the organization can use it to save its
files.

in the One drive folder on your computer, and syncing them online
is done in the background. And this is the biggest positive impact of
this application to your organization as you can store a large number
of various kind of data like pdf, word, excel etc files on it.
 With One Drive, you can always had an extra copy of your files,
accessible from anywhere by just opening your one drive account.
 It can also work with dial up connections even with slow LAN
connections too.
 As for now I do not have seen any negative impact by using this
application for my organization . But we still come to some issues
like internet connection must be there to log in. Or signing in may
face some problems.

Data stored on the One Drive is monitored by Microsoft, and
any content that is in violation of Microsoft's Code of Conduct
is subject to removal and may lead to temporary or permanent
shutdown of the account. This has led to privacy concerns in
relation to data stored on One Drive. Advanced mechanisms,
such as Microsoft's automated Photo DNA scanning tool, are
utilized to ensure users abide with the Code of Conduct and
that their account does not contain files in contravention.
