    • The author of the novel “Eustace Edward Ricardo Braithwaite” is also known as E. R .
    Braithwaite.
    • He is an British- American novelist, writer, teacher and diplomat.
    • Known for his stories of social condition and racial discrimination against black people.
    • He also wrote ‘ A Kind of Homecoming’ , ‘ A Choice of Straws’ , ‘ Reluctant Neighbours'
    and many more.
    • “ To Sir, With Love” is an autobiographical novel.
    • The narrator is an engineer but to meet his need he accept the job of a teacher in a
    rough London East End school.

    was on November 15th and it was one of
    the important day for Greenslade
    school.

    2. Students’ council is going to be held in the


    auditorium.
    Mr. Florian:
    1. Mr. Florian is the headmaster of Greenslade
    school.

    2. He addresses the school on the half yearly students’


    council.

    3. He speak about the aim and policy of school.


    Gillian Blanchard:
    1. She is a white teacher in Greenslade
    school.

    2. She accompanies Braithwaite’s class on


    field trip, excursion, museums and
    theatres.
    Mrs. Dale Evans:
    1. She is a Home Science teacher in the
    school.

    2. She treats student with respect.

    3. She also invites Mr. Brathwaite for a lunch


    with other teachers.
    Denham:
    1. He is the student of Braithwaite’s class.

    2. He is an trained athlete.

    3. He is courteous.

    4. He is confident.

    5. As we know he was as trained athlete that


    why he was criticizing P. T and was considering
    it useless.
    Pamela Dare:

    2. She speaks on the problem of humanity has to


    face sickness and disease.

    3. She also speaks on advantages of knowledge.


    Euphema Phillips ( Miss Phillips):

    who proved himself as coolest

    By this he was trying to say that all human being
    are same we can’t judge theme by colour, cast.
