Sub to: Mrs. Divina Rosales
My name is Junko E. Cayton, I am 19 years old and
currently in college. I was born on the 17th of June year
2002, at 10 p.m., in Kitajima Maternity Clinic. My parents
are Joel G. Cayton and Nerissa E. Cayton and I was their
unica hija. I currently lived in Bantug, Roxas Isabela
together with my mother and our pets.

Both of my parents met in Japan and I was the fruit of

their love. I was born and raised there for 2 years but
eventually, I do not remember much of my early
childhood. Yet according to my mom, I was a very active
who always sing and dance, playful, and explorative child.
In November 2005, both of them decided to come home
here in the Philippines to permanently live here.
I am a teenager who has a normal body frame, normal
height, brown-skinned, and shoulder-length hair. I’m an
introverted person who enjoys peaceful silence and being
at home all alone playing online games or watching
anime. It gives me comfort and I feel at ease whenever I
lock myself in my room. But I also enjoy being outside
and spending time with my friend or having a date with
my special someone. I’m also an animal lover and I
currently have pets like cats, dogs, and hamsters. I love
taking a walk, breath in the wind, and enjoying the view
of the green scenery or beach. I’m quite talented in
singing, dancing drawing and playing an instrument like
the ukelele.
I started studying when I was three. My parents
enrolled me in the nursery then to elementary in Little
Angels Learning Center. My teachers had a hard time
understanding me as I was still fluent in Nihongo, which is
why my mother assist my teacher by translating what I’m
saying. My elementary days were awesome as I get to play
with kids my age and befriend them. I am also an academic
achiever and receive awards. Studying for six years at the
same school is enjoyable because I could be with my
friends with who I can have fun.

In 2014, I graduated as a Salutatorian from elementary and

enrolled at Munoz National High School as a freshman. I
made a genuine best friend that same year which is Hanna
Mae Asuncion who is a pretty, talented, and caring friend
who treated me like a sister. I also gained a lot of friends
during Junior High and also when I step into Senior High
School. I had a great time with them and we made a lot of
memories together. High school is the best time of my life.
Unfortunately, in May 2016, my father died in ICU due to Peptic Ulcer
and High blood. He was bleeding internally when we admit him to Dayos
Hospital. The hospital couldn’t handle his situation so they transfer him to
ICU in Cauayan. Sadly he died there at midnight and we couldn’t do anything
but accept the reality. He was buried on the day of his birthday. We decided to
move out in our old place and permanently live here in Bantug. Things got
difficult especially since my father is gone, but as we go on, we manage to
adjust to our life without him. His death was still a shock for us but we know
that everything happens for a reason and we should keep on moving forward.

After I graduated with honors from Senior High School, I pursue the BSBA
course in La Sallete of Roxas College. I am sure that my degree will be the
key to my brighter future. I know that this will help me manage our family
business well which is a water refilling station in Burgos, Roxas, Isabela. I
wanted to further develop our business as this business was built by my father
to sustain our needs for everyday living. This is why I study hard and devote
myself to learning within this field.
As I move forward, I know that life is no rainbow and that
obstacles and difficulties are always part of it. Life is full of ups
and downs but success depends on how we choose to approach it.
Due to our unstable finances, bills, and debts after my father’s
death, we had no choice but to sell a lot of our things and cars just
to have some money to pay for them. Our business may have been
in service especially during a pandemic but it also pays its
electricity, rent, loan, and other things which makes the business
earnings not enough. I also almost didn’t enroll in college before as
I get sick for two weeks and my mother was hesitant if I could
continue my college due to our situation.

But still, we manage to pay these bills and debts one by one with
the help of our God and support to our relatives who lend us help.
It was truly an answered prayer as our lives have improved and we
have little to think about. Thankfully, La Sallete of Roxas College
still accepts late enrollees in that month after I recovered. It was
also a big help when my uncle who was the brother of my father,
sends me a monthly allowance to sustain my education and needs.
God truly has a plan for us and he provides for us more blessing no
matter what.
I experienced a lot of challenges and problems that
try to test me but I didn’t give in. As I conquer this, it
always leaves me a wonderful lessons. I have made
mistakes and wrong decisions in life but that is okay
because no matter what happen I just always trust myself
that I can always do better next time. We learn from our
failure hot from our success. Good days gave me
happiness, bad days gave me experiences and this helps
me grow and become a better person. I just need to focus
on following my dreams because nothing is impossible
the word itself says I'm possible. We should wake up
every day with hopes that everything will be alright in
the end because life goes on and on. Just trust the process
and God will help you get through it all.
