Introduction
Brown Back Tiger 100 [1] Wright R-1820 Cyclone [2]
1. It was first built in 1903 with 3 cylinders and used in a triplane.
2. Predominantly used in small airplanes.
3. Due to the shorter length of the crankshaft, it creates less vibration.
4. Not common nowadays.

Objectives
1. Redesign the entire model 4 times to the given dimension.[3]
2. Design and add a flywheel.
3. Design a belt and pulley mechanism to make use of power
output.
4. Perform static and thermal analysis on selective parts.

Conclusion
• The 6-cylinder radial engine has 23 parts in total.
• All parts were modified 4 times as per the objective using SolidWorks 2021.
• All the parts were assembled as per the requirement.
• The group also added a belt and pulley mechanism to use the output.
• Working simulation was also added to show the movement of all parts including the piston.
• The Static Analysis and Thermal Analysis was performed on selective parts.
• The primary objective of learning the concept of design, drafting, assembly, simulation and
finite element analysis was achieved by this project.
