Overview of company:

• EdGate Technologies Pvt Ltd is a technology development company and training provider in embedded
system design domain , delivering cost effective and innovative embedded system solutions to business,
including both hardware design and software development, with expertise covering many processors and
real time operating systems.

Introduction to Internet of Things:
Universal Asynchronous Receivers/Transmitters (UARTs):

• Universal Serial Bus (USB) is a serial bus standard designed to allow peripherals to
be connected and disconnected using a standardized interface without rebooting the
system.
• The TM4C123GH6PM microcontroller supports three configurations in USB 2.0
full and low speed: USB Device, USB Host, and USB On-The-Go
Inter-Integrated Circuit (I2C) Interface:

• The Inter-Integrated Circuit (I2C) bus provides bi-directional data transfer


through a two-wire design.
• A Serial Data Line SDA and a Serial Clock Line SCL.
• Interfaces to external I2C devices such as serial memory (RAMs and ROMs),
networking devices, LCDs, tone generators, and so on.
Pulse Width Modulation (PWM):

• Pulse width modulation (PWM) is a powerful technique for digitally encoding


analog signal levels.
• High-resolution counters are used to generate a square wave, and the duty cycle
of the square wave is modulated to encode an analog signal.
