• AA is more of a framework based on module, using which the bank can design various products,
depending on the product line (Lending, Deposits etc.)
• AA allows the users to design products by defining property conditions(E.g. Term, Interest, Repayment
etc.) and attaching them together
• The properties once defined are re-usable and can be used for designing other products. Another major
advantage of AA is soft accounting. The way entries should be raised for various events can be defined
and attached to a product
• The customization capabilities using Lending and Deposits are limited whereas in AA, the differentiation
largely depends on each product category.

Repayment Schedule Types
• Constant Principal + Interest
• Principal Principal only (100%) where as full principal amount will be schedule in
single schedule
• Linear Principal only (Interest will be paid on maturity & system calculated
amount)
• Special Principal only (manually inputted repayment amount as per customer’s
capability)

• Due - The amount requires repayment from the customer
• Pay - The amount is paid out to the customer (used for disbursements)

Schedule Validation
• After providing all mandatory details, Click on validate & choose received in Loan agreement from
customer and commit the record
• Arrangement ID is generated

• Validate the schedule as per the set up
• Navigate to schedule in Additional Details and check for the schedule
• Creation & disbursement charges are applicable for some products and will be added in first
repayment date

• For Authorization login with another LOPS user and navigate to Arrangements
• Enter the Arrangement ID in Unauthorized record and click view
• System will navigate to Arrangement Overview Screen
• Click authorize from the Activity log and Authorize the AA

• AA will be authorized and Status of Loan will be in Not disbursed

Authorization of loan
• Personal loan will be auto authorized. Then the status of the loan will move directly to “Not
Disbursed”
• The booked loan amount will be update as “Total loan amount” and “available to draw” in overview
screen, “TOTALCOMMITMENTBL” and “CURCOMMITMENTBL” respectively in
EB.CONTRACT.BALANCE.BALANCES enquiry
Available to draw Loan amount committed to the customer and not yet disbursed or able to re-
disburse it again post repaid the loan

Cash pool set up is the process of linking the customer’s repayment account to loan account (For Scheduled
Auto repayment process from Customer repayment account)

• Bills will get generated on scheduled date as per the repayment schedule setup
• Accrued interest will move to due interest
• Principal amount will also move to due if it’s scheduled

To decrease the outstanding principal balance on a loan
• Navigate to Principal Decrease screen from AA overview screen “Repayment” and click on Principal
decrease tab or through LHM Menu.
• Enter the following fields

• Authorize the Partial payment from overview screen

Principal decrease Validations
• Amount Repaid will reduce from bills dues and remaining amount will get reduce from Principal
outstanding.(Based on the product Condition set up)
• Interest amount will get reduced and get calculated as per the Principal outstanding balance and same
gets affected in repayment schedule
• Interest accruals will get reduced if principal decrease is done backdated
• In contract balance CURCOMMITMENT balance will get reduced

Loan Simulation
When the customer wants to pre close the loan, then loan simulation is triggered to calculate the pay off
figure.

Paying off the overall outstanding balance of the loan with principal and interest (Pre-Closure)
• Run Loan Simulation
• Delink the cash pool
• Pay off amount will be calculated
• Navigate to Pay off screen from AA overview screen Repayment and click on Full Pay off tab and enter

3.Debit account and commit it.
• Loan Status will change from Current Pending. Closure
• Authorize the loan settled from AA overview screen
• After authorization in overview screen account details will show as “No balance available”
• In EB.CONTRACT.BALANCE, all Closing balances will become zero after payoff

Tips before Performing Pay Off
Before Simulation or Payoff points to be checked
• Check the AASUSPENSE balance, if there are any balance available in Closing balance, then adjust the
balance to Zero
• Check and clear the UNC balance (Reversing the additional repaid amount from the activity log)
• If there are any balance then the status of Loan will not be changed to Pending. Closure on simulation
Back dated Pay off simulation with UNC - if there is a paid bill between current date and the back date value
for the simulation, when the pay off is executed the payment amount will 'park' as a UNC. Change in
procedure: User needs to reverse the bill payment ahead of posting the redemption amount
Back dated pay off with an AA Suspense balance - Check before you simulate that there are no AAsuspense
Closure balances. Adjust/clear AA suspense balance and proceed with the further steps. Remember to
back date the AA suspense adjustment, then perform the back dated pay off (Loan status will go to Pending
Closure). Status will incorrectly stay in Current if user misses the step.

Write off
Bank finds that loan is not collectable from the customer, then Bank decides to suspend the loan and
process write-off.
In T24, If the loan is due for more than 90 days Overdue Status of Loan are moved to NAB-Non Accrual
Basis and Accrual status is Suspended to process the Write-off

• Navigate to Amendment in AA overview screen and select Write off Bills
• Enter Customer ID and Effective date
• Enter Yes in write off bill field and commit it

• In bills tab all outstanding bills will be written off
• In EB.CONTRACT BALANCE below fields become Zero

• Click on change repayment schedule from Amendment screen
• Enter Customer ID, Effective date and validate
• In Repayment schedule tab, amend the Frequency/Date/Amount/Relative date
• Authorize the change in repayment schedule from AA overview screen
• Repayment schedule changed will be displayed in AA overview screen
• Repayment schedule will be changed according to the changes made in
Frequency/Date/Amount/Relative date

Adjust Suspense Balance
Due to some AAA activity(Disbursement/Cash Pool Repayment) reversed from a contract than amount
reversed will be reflected in AASUSPENSE balance in EB.CONTRACT.BALANCE
To move the balance from suspense balance we need to adjust the suspense balance accordingly.
• Navigate to Amendment screen in AA overview screen
• Click on ADJUST.SUSP.BALANCE ACTIVITY FOR BALANCE.MAINTENANCE
• Enter Customer id and effective date and validate it
• In Balance main tab, enter the adjustment amount in Adjustment Amount field and click on commit
• Authorize the adjust suspense balance
• In EB.CONTRACT.BALANCE , AASUSPENSE closing balance updates to Zero
