1.TRIANGULAR PRISM

PROPERTIES

 It is a polyhedron with 3
rectangular faces and 2 triangular
faces.

 A triangular prism is a prism

composed of two triangular bases
and three rectangular sides.

 A triangular prism has 5 faces, 9

edges, and 6 vertices.
2.CUBE

PROPERTIES

 It has all its faces in a square

shape.

 Each of the vertices meets the

three faces and three edges.

 Each of the vertices meets the

three faces and three edges.
3.SQUARE PRISM

PROPERTIES

 Opposite sides of square prisms

are parallel to each other.

 Diagonals of square prism

bisect each other.

 Each of the vertices meets the

three faces and three edges.
4.RECTANGULAR PRISM
PROPERTIES

 Like cuboid, it also has three

dimensions, i.e., length width,
and height.

 Pairs of opposite faces are

identical or congruent.

 It has a rectangular cross-

section
5.CONE
PROPERTIES

 A cone has only one apex or

vertex point.

 A cone has only one face,

which is the circular base but
no edges.

 A circular base and one

continuous curve.
6.FRUSTUM OF CONE
PROPERTIES

 The plane part of the frustum is

called the floor.

 If the axis is perpendicular to

the base, then the frustum is a
right frustum otherwise it is an
oblique frustum.
7.CYLINDER

PROPERTIES

 A cylinder has two flat faces and

one curved face, and it can come in
many different sizes.

 The bases of the cylinder are

always congruent and parallel to
each other.

 the cylinder is a three-dimensional

shape, therefore it has two major
properties, i.e., surface area and
volume.
8.TRIANGULAR PYRAMID

PROPERTIES

 The base is also triangular in

shape.

 A triangular pyramid has 4

triangular faces, 6 edges, and 4
vertices.

 A triangular pyramid has no

parallel faces.
9.SQUARE PYRAMID
PROPERTIES

 The 4 Side Faces are Triangles

 It has 5 Faces

 It has 5 Vertices (corner points).

10.PENTAGONAL PRISM

PROPERTIES
 A pentagonal prism has 15 edges,
7 faces, and 10 vertices.

 The cross-section of a pentagonal

prism is a pentagon.

 The sides of a pentagonal prism

are shaped like a rectangle.
11.PENTAGONAL PYRAMID

PROPERTIES

 It has 5 triangles as the faces and

one pentagon base.

 A pentagonal pyramid can also

have isosceles triangles as its faces
or sides.

 It has 6 faces in total.

12.HEXAGONAL PRISM

PROPERTIES

 It has 8 faces, 18 edges, and 12

vertices.

 In a regular hexagonal prism,

all the angles of a hexagon are
the same.
13.HEXAGONAL PYRAMID

PROPERTIES

 A hexagonal pyramid has 12

edges i.e., 6 connecting the
triangle edges to the main
vertex and the 6 edges of the
base.

 A hexagonal pyramid has 7

faces
14.TETRAHEDRON

PROPERTIES

 A Tetrahedron will have four

sides, six edges, and 4 corners.

 Three edges intersect at each

vertex.

 All four vertices are equally

distant from one another.
15.FRUSTUM OF A PYRAMID

PROPERTIES

 The bases of a frustum of a

regular pyramid are similar to
regular polygons.

 The bases of a frustum of a

regular pyramid are similar to
