Warnings
• This document assumes the assembly people are electricians and are aware of
hazardous voltage risks and know how to work in this environment
• Electrical safety aspect must be considered and working steps and warnings
MUST be followed and obey, work according to safety standards in all steps. If this
is not possible for some reason work must not continue
Step 1: Confirm the FPMA lot code
FPMA material lot code is visible on the bar code label, which is located in the
FPMA casing (front left)

Confirm that the FPMA lot code is in the affected range before proceeding.
LOT CODES IN THE AFFECTED RANGE: RK1714…RK1813
Step 2: Disconnect the Site Power
• Before start, block the transmission of the site (to get minimum load)
• Preparation for site power cabling replacement work
• Switch ALL FPBB (battery units) to stand by
• Switch ALL FPAA (rectifier units) to stand by
• Disconnect ALL AC- supplies to ALL FPMA’s in site
• Prevent AC supply re-connection by locking the switches and use warning signs to
notice work ongoing
NOTE! Prior to Step 2, check that mains supply to all FPMAs at that site are de-
energized. Use appropriate measurement equipment for this!

Step 3: Prepare Inspection of the AC-distribution of FPMA

• Remove AC connection box IP plate and pull out the AC distribution panel

• Remove the AC connection box cover

Step 4: Finalize Inspect of the AC-distribution of FPMA
• Inspect the Line and Neutral connection bars position
• If connection bar is slanted, open its screws and put to the correct position, tighten the
screws (1.8Nm)
• Check the torques of all screws in the AC-connectors
(1.8Nm)

• When AC-distribution checked,

install it back to the FPMA
Step 5: Label and mark the lot code of the existing cables
1. Add a tape or label on the existing cables which will be removed
2. Check the lot code of the FPMA from the bar code label in the casing (picture
below)
3. Type the lot code of the FPMA to the label/tape of respective cable set with a
permanent marker pencil.
Step 6: Remove the 995370A DC power cable harness
1. Disconnect all DC connectors from the FPAA’s and FPBB’s
2. Remove the cable harness from the FPMA casing
Step 7: Check quality checked label of the 995370A DC
power cable harness
• Before start to install new cable harnesses, check that replacement item
packing and cable itself are having the quality checked label
Step 8: Install the new quality checked 995370A DC power
cable harness
• Install new quality checked item to ALL FPMA’s in site according to
Nokia user manual
• Remember to check cable harness bolt torque as stated in user
manual
Step 9: Pack the removed cables into the boxes
1. Use the cardboard boxes of the new replacement cable harnesses (now empty)
2. Pack the removed cables into the cardboard boxes
3. Type the lot code visible on the label/tape of the cable harness on a label or
directly on the cardboard box with a permanent marker pencil.
Step 10: Checklist for replace of 995370A DC power cable
harness
• When new quality checked cable harnesses are installed to ALL FPMA casings
in site
Check that all the required replacements are done for 995370A DC power cable
harness (double check the labels, see the step 5 of this instruction)
Check that all DC connectors are connected, ensure the plastic locking latches works
ok and lock the connector properly
Check that all seal caps of the connectors are firmly in place
Check that all cable ties are in place
Check that the AC-distribution panel + the IP cover is installed back to casing
Check that the casings safety GND wire is connected
Check the safety ground resistance of the reworked casings
Check that all the replaced HW including packaging material is removed from the site
Step 11: Power up the site
Warning: before next action be aware of possible hazardous voltages and
ensure safety of the users
1. Remove the safety locking's from the AC-supply and connect the mains
power to the FPMA’s
2. Turn on the FPAA’s and FPBB’s from the stand by switch. Make sure that
the FPAA LED’s are stable green and the FPBB LED’s are green and
blinking slowly (charging).
