MALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM

• These are the male reproductive system glands these are
equivalent to the ovary of female

LAYERS
• Tunica vaginitis
• It is outermost fibrous layer of testis
• Tunica albuginea
• It is beneath to the tunica vaginitis
• Tunica vascular
• In this there is blood vessels present
TESTIS
• Testis contain 200 to 300 lobules
• Each contain 1 to 4 convoluted epithelial cell
• In tubules there is group of interstitial cell that secrete the
testosterone

blood vessel or spermatic cord
• Functions
• secretion of testosterone hormone
• Production storage and maturation of sperm
SPERMATIC CORD
• It is the tube like structure that suspend the testis into the
scrotum
• It contain different arteries veins and nerves
• Outer most covering of spermatic cord made up of by
fibrous muscular tissues connective tissues and with fibrous
tissue
DIFFERED DUCT
• Also known as vas differed
• It is a tube like structure and 4.5 cm
• It is extended from the testis towards the inguinal canal and ascent
towards the posterior wall of bladder
• It join with the duct seminal vesicle and that form the ejaculary duct
SEMINAL VESICLES
• Main functions
• During ejaculation they contract and expel the contain
• It form 60% of semen
EJACULARY DUCT
• It is a tube like structure 2 cm long and form by union by
duct that are form by seminal vesicle and defriend duct
• It will passes through the prostate gland and join with the
prostatic urethra to pass the seminal fluid and spermatozoa
directly to the urethra

• Outer covering is made up of fibrous glandular tissue and
